Today, May 11th 2018, the Maleficent dragon float at the Magic Kingdom caught fire. At this time there are no reports of injuries during the incident.
In the video you can see a staff member rush over to the float with a fire extinguisher and start to put it out. The fire was put out soon after this video ended with little damage to the float itself other than the head and neck region.
